at a desk desktop in front of me
feel my feelings plummeting
down a drain a stall
constantly picture myself in a hall
and down this hall are numerous doors
sweat drips from my pores
and I feel anxiety
every door I open
I can sense my eyes widening
a surge
a high that brings reconciling
for what I've seen can't be undone
I am looking for the sake of fun
no rhyme nor reason
no misleading
guided by what I yearn for
red and blue energies on either spectrum confide and make purple
sometimes hurtful monsters greet me
yet I know they're not completely harmful
so I bring the opposition by the armful
although some have fangs and have farmed souls
aware though of what the dark holds
a massive light that sends citizens of hell to dark holes
while they cower in fear I smile from a distance
for they fear what they're made of
a true cognitive dissonance
