I've been duckin my conscious

Ain't made no contact

Swear he constantly in combat

Jerkin tears submissive to songs that

Bring water

Every person he meet, he carry caution

And his demons tend to loiter

In front of 7-11

Walks in cuffed pants with no kick in his step and

Buys a pack of backwoods

And a bottle of water

Burns away the ozone layer of his problems

He like papa, and mama

Can't face that it's often

Misfortune that he wallows in,

he used to be soft

Yet hes hollow in

The middle of his chest

Fist clenched

Rewinding to past days

And past ways

Constantly observing, reflecting and uncertain

If those were really good times

Or was he distracted

by constant reactions

Of classmates laughing

Permeating smiles

One look and you could see the vile

Oddly enough felt the need to reconcile

Grew up with all these kids when his mindset was child

Sadly bridges burn, and contacts lost

It was only a year ago but constantly cross

His mind everyday

Everyday goes by and not a second swayed to positive outlooks / but never stout shook/ ended up a crowned crook
